Research Interests

High Pressure Physics , Low Temperature Electrical and Magnetotransport Properties, Thermoelectric materials for Energy conversion and storage, Topological Insulators and Topological Superconductors, Energy Systems, Energy Storage, Spintronic materials, Electrochemical sensors for environmental applications.

Brief Research Profile

Electronic and magnetic phase transitions in Fe-based superconductors, topological insulators, 2DEG materials, intermetallic compounds and perovskite oxides at high-pressures (0-200 kbar), low temperatures (300mK-300K) and high magnetic fields (0-17 T). Development and improvisations of low- temperature high- pressure facilities for magnetotransport studies using the different type of pressure cells (Diamond Anvil, WC anvil, CuBe piston-cylinder) for hydrostatic and uni-axial pressure.
