Sports Activities Around the Year

Institute Organized
• Annual Athletic Meet on 26 & 27 Jan., 2008 and student gave good response in the sports meet. Prof. R. P. Dahiya Inaugurated the meet & Dr. Paramjeet Singh & Olympian Satya Prakash Yadav were chief gust & guest of honor at the closing function Mr Sagar Shetty & Ms. Divya Gautom were the best Athlete of men & women section Mr. Sager Shatty & Ms. Swasti Raizada declared the promising player of the Institute 2007 -2008

Apart from these activities / events the following new events / activities were organized by the captains of various games under the guidance of the department to develop more interest among the students (Boys & Girls) and hunt the players.
• CRICKET- Hong Kong Six Cricket tournaments was organized in Jan. & Feb. 08 in which 42 Boys & 6 girls teams participated (252Boys&36Girls participated)
• VOLLEYBALL-- 2+ Two (Boys & Girls) Tournament was organized in which 48 teams participated (96Boys&96Girls participated)
• BASKETBALL—Mixed NBA Basketball (3+Two) half court tournament was organized in March & April in which 19 teams participated (57Boys&57Girls participated)
• FOOTBALL—JOGABONITO six a side tournament organized in which 24Boys& 5 Girls teams participated (144Boys&30Girlsparticipated)
• BADMINTON & TABLETENNIS 2+ One mixed mania tournaments were organized successfully with good response from the students (In Badminton 40Boys&20Girls and In Table Tennis36Boys&18Girls participated)
